In 1990, The Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia, Inc. was created at a grass roots level and in 1999, became incorporated as a nonprofit organization.
Our mission is to promote health and social change in Hispanic/Latino communities by connecting individuals and organizations, and by providing leadership and advocacy on health issues affecting the Hispanic/Latino community.
HHCGA continues to be a vehicle of information-sharing and networking that includes professionals working with Spanish-speaking clients from all sectors of health and human services in Georgia.
Our vision is to empower the Hispanic/Latino community to achieve optimum health and well being.
PLEASE NOTE:
All of our 2008 meetings will be held at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) Office Park. We hope that this new location is most convenient to most members! There is plenty of parking within the office park. The early birds will get the closest spots.
